The Houses was a project for the Art Lot in Brooklyn, a vacant lot that is used as a collaborative exhibit space for outdoor work. They are mostly made of cement fully loaded with pigment.
A feature that was present in the original iteration was the inclusion of small solar powered lights that came on at dusk.
The Houses were spread throughout the small site, about thirty ofthem at the peak. The exhibit was up for a year and a half and the pieces got richer over time.
